This book works like a miracle for me. The initial years of my marriage were very traumatic and depressing. My in-laws were just pathetic, and they still are now. The words they used against me were just unacceptable, and because of that, I fell into depression. But anyway, I am not living with them right now. This is the best decision I made two years ago. Still, the phase where I was tortured sometimes haunts me. The words just keep coming back to me again and again. In those days, thank God, my husband supported me. He became my strength.
Due to that past experience, I started overthinking a lot. I started feeling like I was the reason behind all the chaos. While scrolling through Reddit, I found a mention of this book. Though I am not a big fan of reading books, in the back of my mind, I felt I must try it.
You know, when I started reading this book, I felt like I was talking to someone who knows what is happening in my mind. I feel like every word was written specially for me. I feel relaxed and settled. I went through many reviews before buying this book, which said you won’t find anything extra in it that you don’t already know. But it is totally a reader’s perspective how you judge a book. In my case, I just admire this book because when you are constantly overthinking about yourself, everyl line in this book will reminds you that you are perfect and everything will be fine.

One Arranged Murder
This is the second book of Chetan Bhagat I read. The title of the book interests me to read it. Though it is not the continuation of his book ‘The Girl in Room No. 108’ but we find a glimpse of some characters and places in the story.
Again it is the story of Saurabh and Keshav. Saurabh, a fat guy, who can’t think until he had eaten a ton of food and Keshav is a normal guy. They both work in the same company and share a common apartment. Both are detectives (it is a company mentioned in the previous book which they started after solving Zara Lone murder case). The story starts with the wedding preparation of Saurabh with Prerna, later obstruct with her murder
Then the story runs on an investigation of the murder case. We can easily guess the murderer after completing 5 to 10 chapters If you think it can create an atmosphere in Agatha Christie’s novel, then you will be quite disappointed.
It is the second attempt of the author to the crime genre but he fails again. The novel reads like a script of a terrible Hindi movie with one eye firmly on selling it for a fat cheque to the movie producer.

Chetan Bhagat is not among my favorite author. This is my first book of him. Well lying on a bed lazily and scrolling up and down to find something special to read on my Kindle the synopsis of the book attracted me.
The story is about a girl names Zara Lone who was murdered in the IIT Delhi campus on her own hostel room and surprising on her birthday. Before dying, she called her ex-boyfriend Keshav which make him the prime suspect of her murder. Keshav makes his life’s mission to solve her murder mystery with his friend Saurabh.
The story has some kind of suspense but like any other Chetan Bhagat’s book, it’s also filled with Hindi abusive language, objectifying women and their choice. The author talks about how people see Muslims especially Kashmiri Muslims, hate for the Indian army in Kashmir, how people of Kashmir did not see themselves as a part of India, and a policeman abusing their power. The part where a normal boy change to a terrorist (glorifying jihad) and a father forces Hindu boy to change religion for marrying her daughter which make this novel a more commercialized movie.
As a whole, it is something you watch on a big-screen commercial movie based on a novel or you can say this book is written to give Bollywood another featured film. Overall it is OK to read. Not too bad. Nothing great either. You can guess the killer from the beginning but I wouldn’t say Chetan Bhagat has failed badly in writing thriller suspense.

The then the books go after Saini who tried to prove himself guilt-free against the murder charge of his friend Varsney. The book contains 108 chapters, and each chapter begins with the life of Lord Krishna in fragments. The unanticipated death of Anil Varsney puts a great threat to Saini who was the last visitor to Mr. Varsney. Did Saini really murder Varsney? What is the seal that Saini is talking about? Who thinks of himself as a tenth Avatar of Vishnu – ‘’Kalki’’? For all that you have to take a deep into the book. As the mystery unfolds, the discovery and research mentioned shocked us that how our ancient India was so much modern than our contemporary inventions. Specifically, I want to mention the mind-boggling facts about temple Dwarka and Somnath which fascinate me the most. Now according to me, I am no one to review this book of the famous author, but to me, the book was just remarkably great. If you are a lover of mythology and want to know more about the mysteries, inventions and history of ancient India with a bonus of thriller, suspense and drama than it is the perfect brew of all these.
No smoking day is celebrated in United Kingdome in every third week of March. It is mainly an awareness day to help smokers who want to quit smoking. It was first held in 1984. The main purpose of this day is to spread awareness about the harmful health effect of tobacco consumption through cigarettes and bidis.
‘Smoking causes cancer’ this phrase is very much common to us. We can see this phrase in Cinema halls, malls and every other place surrounding us. This can even be seen on the packets of Cigarette boxes. Tobacco smoke contains more than 7000 chemicals, including hundreds that are toxic and 70 that cause cancer. Not only has it caused cancer but many deadly diseases like heart disease, lung disease, stroke, diabetes, Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) which includes emphysema and chronic bronchitis. It was also found from recent studies that those women who smoke more, likely to die from COPD than male smokers.
Smokers not only harm themselves but also their dear ones around them. It observed that passive smokers contributes 4100- death among non-smoking adults and 400 infants death every year. Children with direct exposure to smokers had an increased rate of sudden infant death and other respiratory problems.
In India the Government has enacted various tobacco control measures:
1. It enacted the Cigarettes Act (Regulation of Production, Supply and Distribution) in 1975. The statutory warning “cigarette smoking is injurious to health” was mandatorily displayed on all cigarette packages, cartons and advertisements of cigarettes.
2. India adopted the WHO Framework Convention of Tobacco Control (FCTC) and passed the “Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce Production, Supply and Distribution)” Act in 2003.
3. The National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) was launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India in 2007- 08 to bring about greater awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use and about the Tobacco Control Laws and to facilitate effective implementation of the Tobacco Control Laws. (COTPA 2003)
Though many measures and policy were implemented by the government, it was us who have to take a strong step toward this problem because if there is a will there is a way. If you want to lead a happy and healthy life we have to quit smoking.
